Mezzanine Ladder Mezzalad Stairs
The StockMaster Mezzalad is designed to save space. When you’re not using it, it folds flat against the wall. To use it, just lift and pull—simple as that.
- 60 cm wide step provides comfortable, safe footing.
- Two handrails ensure safe, easy climbing
- Australian-Made and designed
-
Every ladder is engineered and manufactured to meet or exceed some of the world’s most rigorous safety standards, including:
AS1892.1:2018 – Australian Ladder Manufacturing Standard
EN131.7 – European Ladder Manufacturing Standard
CE Machinery Directive
ANSI ASC A14.2-2017 – American National Ladder Standard
OSHA 1926.1053 Subpart X – U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration Standards
You have two choices: the PRO version with Safety Yellow powder-coated handrails or the Standard version with plain mill-finish aluminium handrails. The handrails extend 90 cm beyond the upper floor, giving you a secure grip when stepping through. (See extra $280 cost for powder coating below).
There’s a Safety Gate at the upper floor level to keep the perimeter railing intact.
Unlike some products that expect you to juggle safety, this gate can be opened or closed while standing fully on the upper floor—no need to be on the ladder, eliminating a common risk.
Mezzanine Ladder Installation
The Mezzalad is a practical, space-saving option with sensible safety features. Just double-check you’re comfortable with the installation process and the style of handrails before buying—because details matter when you’re climbing around above ground.
Mezzalad is a modular system and supplied with all fasteners and assembly instructions. Assembly is not difficult and can be undertaken by anybody.
Installation is straightforward. The ladder attaches at the upper floor using two universal brackets. You can fasten it to either the wall or floor with bolts or screws. If you need to move it, additional bracket sets let you use the ladder in multiple locations. ( see Mezzalad brackets here)
