Refund Policy of Car Covers and Shelter
NOTE : No returns or exchanges are accepted on Custom Made products such as custom made car covers, garages, solar carports and carports or because of "change of mind". All customers are accepting this policy by plcing an order.
Please check what you are ordering carefully. We will refund and exchange generic designs such as car covers but these products are generally relatively large and bulky. WE DO NOT EXCHANGE FOR JUST 'CHANGE OF MIND". The buyer is responsible for the shipping costs on all returns. Heavy and bulky items can be expensive to return and we can charge up to 10% of cost as a re-stocking fee. A re-stocking fee would only be charged if goods are being returned for a reason other than damaged in transit.
CHECK YOUR ORDER WITHIN 7 DAYS - Refund Policy
There can be many parts to a carport or shed. Car Covers and Shelter will be happy to supply or re-order any damaged or missing parts. It is the buyer's responsibility to check that all parts have been delivered in good order, within 7 days of receipt. WE CAN NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE for PARTS REPORTED MISSING OR DAMAGED, weeks after their delivery.
As of 1st May 2019, an original payment charge of 1.75%+ 30c will not be refunded to us by Paypal/payment providers on refunds. Any refund will be less the 1.75%+30c original Paypal/payment provider charge plus any re-stocking or freight fee we deem to charge.
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. NOTE : No returns or exchanges on Custom Made products such as custom made car covers, garages, solar carports and carports. If you pay a 10% deposit, it is used for drawings and forms - these will always be supplied if done for you but your deposit may not be returned.
If we do consider a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
There are certain situations where a partial refund may be granted (if applicable).
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged or, at our discretion, if the wrong size has been ordered. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and we will forward the address to which you should return the goods.
Warranties or guarantees advertised for replacements or repairs are those of the Australian Manufacturer or importer. Car Covers and Shelter will assist all customers on any warranty claim. Car Covers and Shelter is not responsible for guarantees and warranties advertised and offered by Australian Manufacturers and/or importers. Car Covers and Shelter will assist all customers in any warranty claim against the manufacturer/importer of any goods.
Returns - Refund Policy
To return your product, you must email us for the return address - various types of goods are sent from different warehouses.
While we pay for your delivery, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for return items.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of finance (see paypal above) and a re-stocking fee of up to 10% may apply. Return shipping to you on an exchange may be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item over $100, you must use a trackable freight/shipping service and/or purchase shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item so ensure you have the proof of return.
