FREIGHT AND SHIPPING- Shipping and Returns Policy
Almost all of Australia is covered for free shipping of goods to your home or local depot. In some cases, an additional charge is necessary for some products going to WA or Tasmania. Solar carports, Budget carports and garages are freight free to your nearest depot.
Many items for sale are heavy and bulky and you will be responsible for return freight costs. Note specially built orders such as Carports, Sheds,Garages and Solar carports or custom made car covers cannot be returned but any faulty part will be replaced.
CHECK YOUR ORDER WITHIN 7 DAYS
There can be many parts to a carport or shed. Car Covers and Shelter will be happy to supply or re-order any damaged or missing parts. It is the buyer's responsibility to check that all parts have been delivered in good order, within 7 days of receipt. WE CAN NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE for PARTS REPORTED MISSING OR DAMAGED weeks after their delivery.
Orders are processed: Monday – Friday from 9 am – 5.00pm AEST (Public Holidays Excluded)
Order Confirmation: After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. This means we’ve received your order in our system and have pre-authorised your credit card for the purchase. PLEASE NOTE - Sheds and Carports are specially made, with the exception of Cantliver (Cantaport) Carports and delivery can be up to 4 weeks although usually just 14 days for Lysaght products and 28 days for Professional Choice custom made products.
Order for these items must be paid "up-front" before manufacture. Best to phone for a quote, it will be a little less than the advertised checkout price on these more expensive items.This can not be done by sending us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
If your item is back-ordered or otherwise unavailable, we will contact you to inform you by e-mail or phone. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 7 business days unless noted longer on the product page), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
Tracking Numbers may be sent to your email once your order has shipped although sometimes delivery can be "next day' - you will have received the parcel before we receive the tracking number. A tracking number can be requested anytime.
In some cases, we may need to contact you before your order can be shipped. To ensure there is no delay, please respond to any email/phone call from our Customer Service team. Please DO NOT USE PO BOXES FOR DELIVERY - street addresses only.
We will choose the best available shipping in terms of price and delivery times at the time of shipment.
RETURNS - Shipping and Returns Policy
You can not return any item because of 'change of mind". Wrong size will be replaced or damaged goods will be replaced. There is no returns on specially made carports, garages, custom car covers or Solar carports.
You must contact us (email@example.com - see contact page) for a return shipping address as this will depend on the manufacturer/warehouse your order was shipped from. Return shipping cost is the buyer's responsibility.
Make sure you include a copy of your order confirmation email along with information on the reason for your return and how we can help you. Photographs should also be included if possible.
– Do you need an exchange? Was it damaged? etc.
All goods must arrive in their original, unused, unworn and resalable condition including tags, stickers, boxes, casing etc. In the case that your items are returned without the original packaging, we will not be able to process your return.
Please keep a copy of your receipt of proof of shipment for any returns back to our delivery depots. We recommend using a tracked delivery method to ensure your item arrives safe and sound.

Please check what you are ordering carefully. We do not refund and exchange for 'change of mind' but will be happy to replace any faulty goods or replace 'wrong size' on car covers up to 30 days but these products can be relatively large and bulky and additional costs to Car Covers and Shelter must be paid. The buyer is responsible for the shipping costs on all returns. Heavy and bulky items can be expensive to return and we can charge up to 10% of cost as a re-stocking fee. NOTE :- We are charged 1.75% plus 30C by Paypal and other service providers as soon as you order. This fee is not refundable to us and MUST be paid on any refund.

DAMAGES - Shipping and Returns Policy
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it on the delivery manifest when signing for delivery. This is your best proof that there was damage caused by delivery and can ensure your best chance at a quick replacement or refund. We like to see photos taken on your phone, this greatly helps us in filing a claim with the freight company to get your money back.
In the case of faulty or incorrect items are received, please contact our Customer Service team via firstname.lastname@example.org Please include your order number, and any photos, relevant information regarding the issue so that we can fix this as soon as possible.
Once investigated, we will be able to provide you with information on how to return the item. DO NOT return to our PO Box address; contact us for a return delivery address.
Warranties and/or guarantees advertised for replacements or repairs are those of the Australian Manufacturer or importer. Car Covers and Shelter will assist all customers on any warranty claim. Car Covers and Shelter is not responsible for guarantees and warranties advertised and offered by Australian Manufacturers and/or importers. Car Covers and Shelter will assist all customers in any warranty claim against the manufacturer/importer of any faulty goods.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged, or, at our discretion wrong size ordered. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and we will forward the address to which you should return. You may also be charged for freight on an exchanged product.
If you are wishing to exchange your item for another, please print out your order and write next to the item the new size, color, style or product you would like in exchange. Item must be of same value or less. Exchanged items may incur a freight fee.
In the event that the requested item is not available, our Customer Service team will have the amount of the item refunded back to your account less the finance fee of 1.7%+30c.
Please ensure all items are packaged securely and will arrive back to us in their original condition.
The customer will be required to pay any return freight and/or postage costs.
