Location: This DIY Portable Carport works best in sheltered, low-wind areas, such as a typical suburban backyard. It is not suitable for open, exposed fields or properties.
Project Plans: This non-certified DIY kit is not suitable for council permit applications. If you need a permit, an Engineer-Certified range is the solution for you.
Finishing Touches: You are responsible for assessing the suitability of your site. Please note that trims and fasteners come in a standard fixed colour and may not perfectly match your chosen roof panels.

Council Requirements for Transportable Shelters

In general, you should not require a permit as a Portable Carport shelter is designed to be portable and isn’t a permanent structure.
